Philoptochos Board Elections: Elections will be held Sunday, June 13th after church for the new board for our Philoptochos. Ballots will be ready for you on the 13th. We pray that God continues to inspire this wonderful ministry. Pennies and Prayers ~ please return your Pennies and Prayers jars! If you would like to support the project but didnt have a jar you can still help ~ please make a check out to Philoptochos and put "pennies and prayers" in the memo line. Contact Antigoni Tsircou if you have questions. Oasis End of Year Celebration! Please join us Sunday. June 13th, after Divine Liturgy to thank the wonderful teachers and staff that provided a nurturing place for our kids to learn about our Orthodox faith. We will also honor our graduates that Sunday. This is a potluck so please bring your favorite dish! Give Back Group ~ You are invited to come to our give-back group that meets every other Thursday at 7:00 p.m. This group is for anyone who is challenged by any addiction or who has family or friends struggling with addictions. Our next meeting will be Thursday, June 17th. Feastday of The Nativity of St. John the Forerunner Monastery: This will be a blessed event for those who are able to attend this feastday at our monastery in Goldendale. Great Vespers and Orthos will be at 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 23, and Hours and Divine Liturgy will be at 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Thursday June 24th. Lodging is available at Quality Inn. Holy Apostles Feastday vespers- please join us for vespers for the feastday of the Holy Apostles on Tuesday, June 29th at 6:30 p.m. I pray you can make this a priority as we honor these patron saints of our Holy church. Holy Apostles Feastday ~ We look forward to seeing you at our Holy Apostles feastday liturgy on Wednesday, June 30th. Orthros will be at 8:15 a.m. followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:00 a.m. MARK YOUR CALENDARS ~ Holy Apostles Name Day Dinner Celebration - Saturday, July 17 at St. Demetrios Cultural Center at 5:30pm. Please RSVP to Antigoni Tsircou: 206 795-6208. We need volunteers to help with this event. Please see Tom Themelis if you can lend a hand. Get your RAFFLE tickets!! Don't miss your chance to enter a drawing to win 2 Round Trip Tickets to Greece (good for one year)! Tickets are $100/each. The drawing will be held during our Name Day Dinner Celebration. In the event that enough tickets are not sold (75 minimum) the winner will receive a $1500 cash prize. School Supply Drive ~ We will once again be collecting school supplies and socks/underwear for local school children throughout the summer. . The list of needed school supplies can be found on the church bulletin board or in the June bulletin (look for the link to our bulletin on the home page of the website).
