Festal Divine Liturgy: Synaxis of the Twelve Holy Apostles: 9:30 – 11:00am

Today the Orthodox Church commemorates and honors all twelve of Christ's chosen disciples together, celebrating their missionary labors and witness. We remember Peter, Andrew, James & John the sons of Zebedee, Phillip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Jude the brother of James, Simon & Matthias. Each of these chosen disciples carried the Gospel to the ends of the earth, and their preaching established the Church throughout the world.

At Holy Apostles we celebrate our parish feast day today. As a parish family named in their honor, we celebrate their memory with special joy, asking their intercessions for our community.
