Living Prayer: Beginning to Pray
Prayer doesn't have to feel hard or complicated. Please join us for a three-week journey to practical prayer this Advent season. Living Prayer is a welcoming introduction (or re-introduction!) to an Orthodox prayer life. Over three Wednesday evenings, we'll explore the fundamentals together:
Week 1 (Nov 19): What is prayer, really? Understanding how prayer helps build a closer relationship with our living God.
Week 2 (Dec 3): Building a sustainable prayer habit and praying the Psalms, ancient words that are still relevant in modern life.
Week 3 (Dec 10): Experiencing the Akathist of Thanksgiving, and how to build a perspective of gratitude in prayer.
Perfect for inquirers, those returning to the faith, or anyone wanting to strengthen their prayer life. All are welcome.
