Alice Hopkins

Administrative Assistant

Alice has been part of Holy Apostles since its very establishment, carrying forward a family legacy as the daughter and granddaughter of founding members of the mission church. She and her husband Shawn are blessed with three children—Eva and twins Jacob and Zoey—who represent the next generation growing up in this loving parish family. Alice's patron saint is St. Aglaia, and she finds deep inspiration in the Theotokos, whose unwavering faith and immediate "yes" to God's unexpected plan serves as Alice's model for trusting in divine providence even when the path ahead is unclear.

As the Administrative Assistant for Holy Apostles, Alice serves as one of the first voices parishioners hear when they call the church, embodying the welcoming spirit that has defined this community since its founding. Whether it's creating weekly Sunday bulletins, offering ministry and committee support, running financial reports or helping parishioners with compassion and attention, there is little in the parish that isn't touched by Alice's care and dedication.

What Alice treasures most about Holy Apostles is the authentic agape that welcomes everyone equally, whether they are newcomers or founding families like her own. She loves the multi-generational community where all can worship together in the same spiritual home, sharing adversities and prayers with genuine care for one another. This true love and beauty that she has witnessed throughout her lifetime at Holy Apostles continues to inspire her service, whether through her daily administrative work or her commitment to nurturing the same welcoming spirit that her grandparents, parents, and extended family helped establish when Holy Apostles first began its mission.
