Scenes from Camp Agape Northwest 2026
Saturday, August 1, 2026 — For one week every summer, All Saints lakeside camp on Raft Island in South Puget Sound fills up with kids who are fighting cancer, the families who are fighting it with them, and a small army of volunteers whose whole job is to create "a place of joy, rest, and unconditional love in the midst of life’s most difficult journey."
Volunteers from Holy Apostles have returned, year after year, to help make Camp Agape Northwest possible for nearly thirty years, and this summer was no exception. What a joy to see familiar faces helping as counselors, kitchen crew, and support staff. Of course, Fr. Tom is there serving liturgy in the camp chapel and Pres. Pat is probably the joyful eye behind nearly all of the photos the rest of us get to enjoy.
Both the families that are embraced at Camp Agape, and the volunteers who embrace them, often say the experience is transformative. If you are interested in helping out and sharing in the agape next year, please get in touch.
